Doberman FAQ’s
-My Power Button doesn’t activate when I press the button.
Please ensure batteries are inserted correctly following the polarity instructions. If there is no change replace with new batteries. If they still do not work contact support line and they will help identify the problem.
-My Power Button doesn’t attach to my arm correctly?
Adjust strap carefully, ensuring strap is tight enough to stop Power Button slipping and not too tight as to be uncomfortable. If this does not solve the problem then please contact the support line.
-The alarm doesn’t sound like it used to, is my product faulty?
Try replacing the batteries with new ones. If there is no improvement then contact the support line.
-My mini mobile Alert won’t activate
Make sure both ends are connected. One end should be connected to your mobile phone, and the other should be connected to your clothing or bag. Then when the phone is pulled from its location the alarm should sound.
-Can I wear my Power Button while swimming?
While the Power Button is splash proof, it is not designed to be immersed in water so it is not suitable for use during swimming.
-I would like to buy my child an Electronic Defence Whistle but they won’t like it in blue. Does it come in any other colours?
The Electronic Defence Whistle is available in three colours (as are many other Doberman products). Please see the homepage for more details.
-I can’t change my code on my Bag Protector Alert.
Ensure that a beep is audible after each button is pressed. If you do not hear a beep then the button was not fully pressed. Try again (while referring to the instructions provided) and if you are still not successful please contact the support line.
-I only want my Signal Safety Alert’s lights to flash without sounding the alarm. Is this possible?
It is simple to operate the lights only on the Signal Safety Alert. Just press the ‘Flash mode’ button, located on the rear of the unit. The alarm will sound if you press the ‘Alarm Signal mode’ (please note lights will also flash when ‘Alarm Signal mode’ button is pressed).
-My Infrared Perimeter Protector Alarm is continuously beeping and flashing around 3 times a minute. Is it broken?
If the Infrared Perimeter Protector Alarm is sounding this way then the batteries should be replaced immediately.
